The unique competition sees 40 of the continent’s top fitness teams take on a number of challenging workouts over the course of two days in a bid to be crowned champions of Europe and claim the £5,000 top prize.

Each team is made up of a minimum of seven men and five women and, with more than 400 registered athletes, this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than the inaugural 2014 edition.

The challenges are designed to test all aspects of fitness to elite level, while at the same time entertain and educate the crowds – before each challenge there will be a demonstration of what exercises will be attempted.

Among those taking part will be a Reebok ‘super team’ including Sam Briggs, who claimed the title of “fittest woman on earth” when she won the CrossFit Games in 2013.

The Strength in Depth European Finals will take place in the Sports Hall and the London 2012 Legacy Pool on Saturday and Sunday, with spectators also able to shop around the many fitness-related stalls.

Tickets are now on sale priced £11 per day or £20 for a weekend pass. Student tickets are available for £9.90 per day or £18 for the weekend. Entry is free to under-16s.
