The women’s winter league for rugby league season began on 25 October so last weekend was the third week of fixtures. The league is made up of two divisions and this season Division Two welcomed three new teams: East Leeds (pictured above), Odsal, Hunslet, Hull and Liverpool University, it will be very interesting tracking their progress throughout the season. The two divisions are made up as follows:

Fixtures/Results
8 November there were no fixtures for Division One.
Division Two
Odsal 12 Hull Wyke 12
Great game by both teams, both of equal calibre, they dug deep to come up with a draw when half time score was Odsal nil Hull 12, so a great come back for Odsal.
East Leeds 10 Huddersfield St Joes 40
The scoreline doesn’t reflect the game, played in really good spirits and for East Leeds their first game ever.
Hunslet Warriors 0 v West Leeds 48
Again score doesn’t reflect the game Hunslet never gave up (and another team playing their first league game), showing loads of potential.

Wigan St Judes – BYE
Division Two
