  • +1

Reigning World Champions England Women will play France and Ireland in an autumn international series next month. England will play the first of their two fixtures against France in France on November 7 at Le Stade Francis Turcan in Martigues, kick off 445pm (GMT). The match will also be broadcast live on France 4 TV.

England then return home for a clash against reigning Six Nations champions Ireland on November 14 at the Twickenham Stoop, kick off 3pm. This match will be broadcast live on www.englandrugby.com.

England Women’s Head Coach Simon Middleton said: “We are up against some quality opposition in the autumn series. Ireland and France are formidable opponents and that was very much underlined during last season’s Six Nations with Ireland taking the title and France finishing second.

“We are really looking forward to two great fixtures as we continue to develop our squad. It will be a tough opener against France away, always one of rugby’s ultimate tests, but we hope to impose ourselves on them, while Ireland I am sure will be a classic game between two great rivals.”

Tickets for the match can be purchased from www.tickets.quins.co.uk priced at £10 for adults and £5 for juniors. There are also group and school discounted packages available.
