On Sunday Thatto Heath St Helens were on the road to Normanton Knights and it was the travelling side who battled to a 42-0 win. Thatto’s Lizzie Gladman and Tara Stanley both crossed for two tries each, Stanley added a further four conversions. Chloe Hammond, Naomi Williams and Sammie Simpson all also scored one try each.
Bradford Thunderbirds were at home to Leigh Miners Rangers and the home side grabbed an empathic 62-0 win. Aimee Staveley crossed for an impressive four tries and there were two tries each for Amy Hardcastle and Shona Hoyle. Lisa Taylor, Joanne Ollerenshaw, Rhiannon Marshall and Manina Spurr all scored one each. Lisa Taylor converted 6 tries and Rhiannon Marshall added one to complete the scoring for the afternoon.
Wigan St Patricks welcomed West Craven Warriors and Wigan earned a 38-0 win. Wigan’s Katie Dean, Charlotte Foley and Gillian Aspey all crossed the white wash twice and Sarah Harrison scored one try ad was on target with five goals.
The final game of the weekend saw Brighouse Rangers host Stanningley, in a tough encounter it was Stanningley who emerged with the victory 32-18. Stanningleys Vicky Pinks scored three tries, Sarah Lovejoy scored twice and there was one try for Rachel Barker. Tasha Gaines and Kirsty Duffield both converted two tries each.
