England to host Netball Europe U17 competition this March

For the second successive year England will play host to the Netball Europe U17 competition this year. The event will be hosted at the Airco Sports Stadium in Hull from Friday 6th March – Sunday 8th March.

The Championships sees Europe’s best young netballers come together for 3-days of intense competition.

The format of the competition will see England U17s, Scotland U17s, Wales U17s and Northern Ireland U17s compete in the Championship section.

Battling it out in the development section will be Switzerland, Gibraltar, Malta and for the first time a team from outside of the European region has been invited across, with Dubai making their debut.

The schedule/results for the tournament is as follows;

Friday 6th March

Dubai 43-15 Gibraltar – 10am
England 102-11 Northern Ireland – 12pm
Malta 15-29 Switzerland – 2pm

Scotland 41-35 Wales – 4pm

Saturday 7th March

Switzerland 38-17 Dubai – 10am
Scotland 23-83 England – 12pm
Gibraltar 32-18 Malta – 2pm

Wales 46-37 Northern Ireland – 4pm

Sunday 8th March

Gibraltar 22-38 Switzerland – 9am
Northern Ireland 39-45 Scotland – 10:45am
Malta 9-53 Dubai – 12:30pm
England 77-24 Wales – 2:15pm
