On Saturday Doncaster Rovers Belles kicked off the third round of the FA Cup beating London Bees 3-0 at home with goals from Bethany England, Courtney Sweetman-Kirk and Sue Smith.
On Sunday WSL 2 side Oxford United were shocked 3-0 at home by FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division side Coventry City. While the result of the day was Aston Villa beating newly-promoted Sunderland 2-1 at home.
Four ties were postponed because of the weather and they will be played on Sunday 8th February when hopefully the elements will be a little kinder.
