England Women Captain Charlotte Edwards has been appointed as a trustee for the Cricket Foundation, the charity behind the Chance to Shine and StreetChance programmes.
The 34-year-old, a Chance to Shine coaching ambassador, has played an integral role in inspiring more than one million girls to play cricket.
Edwards said: “Working for Chance to Shine and helping to inspire the next generation of cricketers is incredibly rewarding.
“I feel lucky to be involved in such a success story and I’m delighted to be joining the charity’s board of trustees.”
